My work has appeared on websites that include: thisoldhouse.com, popularmechanics.com, cnnfn.com, housenet.com, in newspapers, such as,: The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Hartford Courant, Newsday, USA Today;in consumer magazines: Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful, Popular Mechanics, Renovation Style, This Old House, Woman’s Day and in trade publications such as Architectural Record, Kitchen & Bath Design News, Remodeling.
Gardening is a life-long passion and I've also earned a certificate in Flower Garden Design from The New York Botanical Garden. And when I am not writing or gardening, I enjoy knitting (some would say collecting yarn) travel, photography, reading, working on my family's genealogy and learning whatever I can about what currently interests me.These days that sustainability, nutrition, the economy and SEO!
